Homecoming Weekend Finale

Welcome back to another week update! This past weekend was Homecoming Weekend, and all the past alumni came back to catch up with old friends and have a good time. So many alumni came back, and it was so nice to hangout and talk to the people that I shared part of my ONU experience with.

But before I get into Saturday. I went home Friday for a wedding. It was one of my sister's childhood best-friends. I was my mom's plus one and it was so good to see all the girls that were around when I was little. I always wanted to hang out with them and be like them obviously, they were like my cool older sisters. But since my sister and her friends are 6 years a part it was kind of hard to be able to hang with them because the age difference. But then again, I didn't want to be that annoying little sister that was always around, and everyone got annoyed with. I tried to keep it cool.

The wedding was so fun, the couple got married in Scotland two years ago which I thought was so cool. What it would be like to live in Scotland and find your soulmate, it's like a movie! The ceremony was short and sweet, and her dad officiated it which is such a cute touch. They building the wedding was in the absolutely gorgeous with big chandeliers and had a Cinderella vibe. The night was danced away with old friends that I call my older sisters too. There was bowling after which was so fun, it was so fun we bowled till 2 a.m. My sister, brother-in-law, and I then devoured $40 of Taco Bell and the night ended.

In the morning I got to see my favorite little girl Saylor, who I blog about all the time, my niece. She is growing so much, and I hate to miss out on all of her big moments. She now is getting her two front teeth and a few bottom ones, and they are the cutest thing ever when she smiles! She is crawling and soon to be walking. I can't wait to see her again soon at Thanksgiving!

Saturday then was filled with the football game, lots of fun, and talking. We hung-out all day and night with the alumni and had a blast! Unfortunately the night

ended with someone breaking our window at our house, and part of electricity going out. The weekend was very busy and filled with fun for the most part! Let's see what Halloween Weekend brings to us!

Until the next adventure,

Lauren
