My Favorite Person

 On January 1st, 2022 at 1:30 am, my favorite little person was born. Saylor Grace Stith, my first niece, arrived and I couldn't be more obsessed with her. 

As most people know, I am not really a baby person. I never really have been. Even with my baby cousins I wasn't super excited to hangout them or want to hold them all the time. The crying and not knowing what they want scares me. But that all changed when my niece was born.

My sister is 6 years older than me, so it is hard to think that I am an aunt now, but I'm not complaining about it. Since I have been and aunt for 8 months now, I couldn't be happier and more obsessed with Saylor. She has the biggest blue eyes, perfectly blonde hair, the biggest chubby cheeks and so so many rolls all over her body. 

I wasn't sure how I would be as an aunt, but I think I'm not terrible. My sister actually trusts me with watching Saylor for hours on end, even when she was a newborn. I think me and Saylor are a lot a like she loves to eat, just like me. She loves to sleep, just like me. And she's got a little sass to her, just like me! 

It's crazy how much Saylor has grown up already. I never really thought time passes us by when my elders would always say it. But



they aren't wrong, she's already 8 months old and time really flew by. But I can't wait till I can take her out on little day dates while her mom and dad are working, helping her with homework, going with her to pick out a cute homecoming dress, or even just talking about things that mom just doesn't need to know. 

I have always said I wanted to be the fun aunt, and I think I'm killing it, so far.
