Last Go Around

 Here's to the memories that will last forever and the friends that will always be by my side.

August 22nd, 2022 I started my last first day of school... ever. 

I remember, like it was yesterday, when my mom used to say "It goes by faster than you think" when I was wishing away my middle school years to go into high school and then high school to college. And now, here I am writing about my last first day of college. Time really does fly by.

This year my roommates Sydney, Allie, and Kaylee will be all living in a house right a-crossed from Rite Aid in Ada, Ohio. I can't believe I'm grown enough to be a senior, let alone to rent out a house and pay bills. 

We all came to school early to decorate and organize our new house and rooms. It the cutest and coziest house and I can't believe its mine... till May of course. The theme I picked for my room is orange, of course I have to represent ONU somehow, blue and grey. It cozy, cute and mine!

This year is a year of last. It's a year to reflect on all the amazing memories that will be in the near future, "The best years of your life". With no worry in the world besides, good grades, sports, and to make sure we turn the lights off when we aren't using them. This year will be....the last time I'll sit in a classroom. It's the last time I'll live with my best-friends from college. The last time I'll ever play a sport and put on the bright orange and sharp black uniforms. And last but not least the last time I'll be considered not an adult.

So, yes time does fly by. But, the memories that you have always wondering in your mind, will come up when you need it the most. Heres to all the last time's that I have left in the village of Ada, as all the students like to call it. Here's to all the more memories I'll make till the end of May and the non-adulting I have to do, for the most part.

Thank you to The Village of Ada for letting me call you home for the past 4 years, it's been a blast.
