Is Vlogging the New Blogging?

Vlogging and Blogging have always been around, but I feel like recently there is more hype and consistency with these types of ways to spread awareness about a company. I know when YouTube was such a cool platform to be on, I would watch a lot of vlogs that had to do with DIY crafting or how to tie

dye your thrifted sweatshirt. With the new social media platform TikTok, I feel like vlogging has even become a bigger deal. Most of the influencers on TikTok or YouTube are big into vlogging about their day-to-day life or how to cook a certain meal that vlogging is starting to blow up again.

I know when I was little to now being a famous vlogger was everyones dream. Everyone wanted to be a famous YouTube star and now the new hype is about being a famous TikTok star. Both of these platforms have one thing in common and that is the power of vlogging and have a purpose to your videos and content you post.

Vlogging doesn't just help see the inside of how of movie is made or how a company preps to make a wedding cake. This way of social media is about the viewers and followers to feel like they are included in the business and how they pull off that gorgeous wedding cake in an hour, or how that one actress got her hair and makeup done for that scene.

Vlogging is an evolving and way to spread awareness for the way a company handles themselves and by connecting more with their customers by making them feel included. I like vlogging will become a great way for companies to thrive longer and stronger because of the exclusiveness that the short videos bring to customers and viewers.

Vlogs are a great way for companies to spread awareness through visual content that catches the customers or followers' content for the perfect amount of time with enough detail to make the viewer think twice about how great the vlog was or how amazing their content looked.

Until next time,

Lauren
